Isabella Oliver launches its non-maternity line

Maternity clothes from Isabella Oliver were the mainstay of my maternity wardrobe for both pregnancies, and I still wear the majority of them even now. They can be thrown in the washing machine and are made with incredible quality, having lasted now for nearly three years in constant rotation. So I was very excited when I heard that they were launching their first ever non-maternity line.

Called the 365 Collection, it

"...was designed with the busy woman's lifestyle in mind. We like to invest wisely in fashion and want to be able to wear our clothes for more than one season or one part of the day. We adore versatility - multitasking pieces that can be easily dressed up or down simply by adding a statement piece of jewellery and heels."

These clothes are certainly not cheap, but due to their great quality I see them as investment pieces that will fit in with the rest of your wardrobe for years to come. I bought the following items out of my clothing budget for the coming season:

The first items I bought were the the hooded wrap top in white ($120) and the wide leg trouser in navy($180). The top is in stretch jersey, and comes with a detachable hood/ties, which I am really looking forward to wrapping and draping in various ways. Paired with the crepe de chine wide leg pants, you have a really elegant outfit. The top would also look great with jeans or a slim pencil skirt, and I plan to pair those trousers with so many of my tops right through autumn and winter as well.

The next item was my favourite and as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. This Striped Tank Dress ($270) is made from fine Italian knit jersey and has an asymmetrical ruching feature down the side. This will be great for summer days with my gold aviator style sunglasses, and nude patent gladiator flats. For cooler weather, I think this will look wonderful with a navy shrunken blazer, or my white knit wrap cardi from Isabella Oliver's maternity range.

The last item I ordered was the Striped Scoop Top ($130) also made from Italian fine knit jersey. Navy and white stripes are a real classic combination making this piece a real keeper for the long term and the ruching at the side together with the slim fit keeps it modern, not old fashioned.

The collection is not available until the 10th March, but can be pre-ordered now.
